Nijel Smith
is an actor, musician, and videographer currently based in NYC. Originally from Tennessee, Nijel grew up singing in church, but his love for performing began with his first musical in the third grade. (Fun fact: he auditioned for his first show after his mom slid the audition notice in the newspaper under the bathroom door as he was taking a bath.)
In addition to all things art, Nijel also enjoys learning and understanding technology. Around his friends, he is known as “The Tech Guy”, staying up to date on news, updates, and skills. With Apple products as his “specialty”, he previously held a Specialist position for Apple.
After graduating with his BFA in Musical Theatre, Nijel has bounced around the region grooving and performing theatre and music. With trombone as his primary, he currently plays 10 instruments, and doesn’t plan on stopping!
